December 08, 2017. It does! It really does snow in Houston! I was out of town (in San Antonio, where it snowed as well), but the rest of the family documented the miracle of whiteness for me – this photo shows the backyard in the morning, the result of an overnight snowshower. Of course it was all gone by mid-day, but it was cool to witness this rare occurrence (on average, Houston gets snow just once every ten years). We even saw some really ugly muddy snowpeople the next day – not a lot of material to work with... |
