Antirrhinum majus

Antirrhinum majus

Common name snapdragon
Family scrophulariaceae
Life cycle annual
Flowers many colors (summer)
Light sun-part shade

Most years, we start one or two varieties of common snapdragons from seed. But the nicest-looking ones somehow seem to be the ones that volunteer their services and good looks - often in our cutting garden. The one pictured here is probably a descendant of 'Night and Day', which we grew a few years ago.

In our garden, this plant grows in the following area: cutting garden
