We have all kinds of varieties of common columbine - all offspring from several plants purchased many years ago. Most of them, at this point, are one of three colors of 'Nora Barlow'-type plants - deep plum, royal purple and pink/white. We also have some more traditional bicolor columbines, descended from 'Music mix' and other plants. They are almost a weed in our garden, but oh, such a pretty weed.

The plants with purple flowers and red and white flowers are from the daliah family.
I planted some in Connecticut last summer they did not bloom,I hope they will this year.I have left the tubers in the ground, and want to see what happens. |
