Synonym(s) Ruta albiflora Family rutaceae Life cycle shrub (Z7) Flowers white (late summer) Size 18-24" Light part shade From seed germinate at room temperature, with exposure to light detailed seed-starting info below Woodland subshrub, may not be hardy in our garden in the long run. But so far so good - on my second attempt to grow them on from seed (the first ones didn't survive summer), I got flowers by late August of their second year. The foliage looks like that of garden rue, and is aromatic.

2007. Seed from '06/'07 HPS/MAG exchange. Baggy 70F with light (61%G, 4-13d)
2008. Same seed as above. Baggy 65F with light (33%G, 6-12d)
