We purchased 'Hot Lips, a dwarf form of the species, with dark foliage and speckled pale pink bells. Supposedly, this one lacks the agressive tendencies of its brethren. It's nice enough that even if it did, it would be worth some maintenance. Unfortunately, it did not survive for more than a year in our garden. Meanwhile, a plant I grew from seed traded as 'Campanula collina' turned out to be probably C. punctata (although the leaf shape is different). I'm growing it with its roots contained, and haven't had a problem with invasion thus far.
