Back in the early days of our garden, we bought a few small garden mums for the new side garden. Years later, those plants (and their many divisions) have grown into monstrous mounds, two foot tall by four foot wide, engulfing anything we are foolish enough to plant close to them in spring, when they don't yet hint at their late-season girth. But we wouldn't be without them - their form adds structure to the garden, which they really brighten up over a long season of bloom - from late summer well into fall.

Your flowers and your garden are just very very beautiful. How about posting a picture of the full garden, since I can't come and see it. How much time on an average do you spend in the summers in your garden? |
