A very showy foxglove, with long period of bloom. It's supposed to be perennial, but the ones we grew from seed didn't last past their second year in our garden. This year, we bought a couple of new ones, with good intentions of deadheading the flowers before they set seed, in hopes of perennializing this lovely plant. But so far, they just made pretty clumps of leaves, no flowers.
