Not sure yet if I'll classify this as a weed or as an ornamental in the long run - for now, because I like the leaves, I'll throw it in with the desirable crowd. The unusually shaped, glossy leaves look cool on the vine that's twirling its way up our copper trellis. But I don't recall planting it there, so chances are it has found its way into our garden by natural distribution. I may be setting myself up for future problems by not eradicating it, since its tubers reportedly settle in pretty deep. Ah well, I can always kick myself later.
