Trying a new cultivar. Looking forward to its early-season blooms, along with nice fall color. Supposed to develop an upright spreading habit. It bloomed late in the second winter after we purchased it, with red spidery flowers that look cool up close, especially when backlit. But you do have to get up real close, it's easy to miss the flowers, especially when they share the branches with last year's faded leaves. So far, it has shown passable fall color, as seen above.
