We grow just about all heucheras in our garden for their patterned or bold foliage. This one is the main exception - while its bright-green foliage is nice enough, it is hardly exciting, but the bright red flowers in early summer make you turn your head. We originally had this planted in our hot and dry driveway bed, where it just barely survived, but since we moved it to our partly shaded side garden, it has come into its own.
