Started from seed in late winter, these plants grew to a nice size by late season (but they didn't bloom). The photo here shows how the leaves turn shades of purple by mid-September.

Visitors to this page have left the following comments| PinewoodsBear | May 06, 2009 | This plants blooms in my area June through Aug. so here the Autumn Bride might be eager and earlier than other parts of the country. I grow it in a place that gets full early morning sun but partly shady mid day and total shade in the afternoons. Seems to do well with little care. Shows you when it needs water because it starts to wilt... and you need to water right away when that happens. I have been told that it can repeat bloom in Oct. but that has not happened yet for me. Fits in nicely with other varieties of Heucheras. |

Seedlings are weak. Best to leave them in baggy until seed leaves develop before planting in soil.
