Common name hyacinth Family hyacinthaceae Life cycle perennial bulb Flowers various Size 12" Light sun-part shade Just plain ol' garden hyacinths. Some of ours look nice every year, others dwindle to a scrawny form after a year or two. I don't remember the names of the ones we grow, most of which came as a wedding present from my Opa and Oma.
