Common name purple deadnettle Family lamiaceae Life cycle annual Flowers purple Size 6" Light sun-shade This pretty little weed overruns parts of our gardens in early spring, blooming merrily away over purple-tinged foliage. I try to pull it as much as I can, to prevent rampant re-seeding.
