This year marks our third attempt to establish lathyrus vernus in our garden. Getting seedlings isn't too problematic, but growing the small plants through their first summer has proven too large a hurdle till now. Hopefully, three is a charm.

In our garden, this plant grows in the following area: orchard nursery area About my plant portraits
- Seed for 'f. alboroseus' from HPS/MAG '01/'02 exchange. Soaked 24hr, baggy 70F (50%G, 15-19d)
- Seed from '02 trade. Baggy 40F (6w) - 70F (50%G, 3-60d; some scarification applied during this period)
- Seed from '06 trade. Scarified with sandpaper, baggy 70F (78%G, 14-20d)
