It's a Spring blooming Asiatic lily the is creamy white with maroon stripes in the throat. Asiatic lilies come in Spring and have no scent. Orientals come in summer and smell really strong. If you want to try crossbreeding it is easy to save pollen in little containers in the refrigerator. It can last up to a year. We like to cross pollinate and grow new colors from the seed. Lots of fun!! Lilies also sometimes produce little bulbils at the leaf bases as the flowers fade and/or bulb offsets just below the soil line, which you can propagate. |
