The lobed, deeply toothed leaves are covered in stinging hairs - handle with gloves! Odd-looking, golf-ball-sized fruit.

The Loasa Triphylla seeds you traded to me in the spring have sprouted into the most amazing plants. They're the talk of our garden. The flowers are small but beautiful. The whole plant has quite the sting to it - even the unusual seedpods have stinging hairs (but they can be wiped off with paper before opening the pod).
Our plants grow and bloom in half shade. It would make a cool-looking hanging pot outdoors in the summer - especially when the seed-pod balls are all hanging down.
Thanks again for the seeds. Well worth growing.
