Unassuming, plain-jane plant that goes unnoticed for most of the year nestled in between the other plants claiming space along the edges of our pond - except for when it blooms in mid-May. That's when white stalks with a studded yellow head appear from out of nowhere. Like many other aroids, they look a little phallic, but mostly, they're just a "what the heck is that?" plant - which makes it perfect for our garden :-)
Update 2006: Another set of three came with our pond plant package, and are now gracing the bog filtration area.
