Common name drumstick primrose; Himalayan primrose Family primulaceae Life cycle perennial (Z3-8) Flowers lilac (early spring) Size 8-12" Light part shade Cultural notes ordinary garden soil (not too dry) From seed germinate at room temperature. do not exclude light. detailed seed-starting info below My plants, grown from traded seed, don't particularly look like the online photos and descriptions of P. denticulata - so I've probably got a different primrose on my hands. If you know what it is, please let me know (see form below).
