From web research, I expect this to be a hardy, long-lived deciduous tree with upright branching habitat, showy exfoliating bark of grey, green and brown, fragrant flowers, and inedible yellow fruit. It is commonly used for bonsai. We grew ours from seed several years ago, and they are still small - but finally coming into their own.
