Evergreen basal rosette, web info suggests hardy to only 20F. Leaves are woollier than most salvias - on a par with salvia argentea. Since I don't know if I'll ever have flower photos to show, I'll put up a photo of the foliage for now.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away...

I can send you photo of Salvia indica in bloom if you want. It's rare but still found growing wild here in SW Jerusalem. I have one in bloom in my backyard.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Unfortunately, this plant did not survive the winter in our garden.

Seed-starting details for this plant

Seed from '04 trade. Baggy 70F (35%G, 4-6d). Moving to warmer location did not result in additional germination.
