Salvia indica |
 |
Evergreen basal rosette, web info suggests hardy to only 20F. Leaves are woollier than most salvias - on a par with salvia argentea. Since I don't know if I'll ever have flower photos to show, I'll put up a photo of the foliage for now.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away... About my plant portraits
Visitors to this page have left the following comments| Shulamit Bat El | Apr 07, 2006 | I can send you photo of Salvia indica in bloom if you want. It's rare but still found growing wild here in SW Jerusalem. I have one in bloom in my backyard. Thanks for sharing your experience! Unfortunately, this plant did not survive the winter in our garden. |
- Seed from '04 trade. Baggy 70F (35%G, 4-6d). Moving to warmer location did not result in additional germination.
