It was a nice surprise to find these blooming, two-and-a-half years after starting them from seed, in an out-of-the-way corner of the yard. I'll have to relocate them to a more prominent location, to show off their late-season flowers. I expect they will continue to get more robust and floriferous in the next few years.

Autumn squill reaches about 0.25m height which means it's a tiny plant. I think you're right - this is probably Scilla scilloides. Renaming the page. |
