Came highly recommended by a trader. Jelitto rates it hardy only to zone 8, but so far, our two plants have survived two winters in our garden, which (neglecting global warming) is rated zone 6. In its second year, they stayed small and insignificant, looking mostly like feeble carrot plants. But they came into their own in year three, first growing their frilly foliage to a greater stature and volume, and then, in mid-August, displaying their flat umbels of white flowers. Nice plum-colored stalks, too.
