Tulipa greigii 'Pinocchio'

Tulipa greigii 'Pinocchio'
Common name tulip
Family liliaceae
Life cycle perennial bulb
Flowers red/white
Size 8"
Light sun
Cultural notes ordinary garden soil

We like greigii tulips, with their broad patterned foliage and colorful mid-spring flowers. So far, it looks like they are nicely perennial for us, too - this year, their second in our garden, they came back with more flowers than the first. Much better than many others, which didn't bother to come back for a repeat.

In our garden, this plant grows in the following area: back yard island
