I am research study on the ability of Typha latifolia to uptake heavy metals from industrial wastewaters using constructed wetlands comprising this plant. When you say that the plant is perennial could you please tell what is the life cycle of a plant (i.e. from young rhizomes to the period of plant maturation and senescing). For example is it 6 months or 12 months ?
