Zaluzianskya capensis 'Midnight Candy' |
 |
Grown as an annual in temperate climates, this South African native is known for its fragrant flowers, which open up in the evening. This year marks our first attempt at growing it. It started blooming in July, on more upright, less bushy plants than I was hoping for. Probably not quite enough sun. I like the purple undersides of the petals.
