Species from Mexico whose natural forms included yellow- and pink-red-flowered version. Most forms in cultivation appear to have soft pink to magenta flowers fading to yellow in the centers. Rounded petals. Narrow leaves.

We're just trying this plant for the first time this year; it hasn't found a permanent place in our gardens yet. (click here for a full list)

  1. Seed from NARGS '18/'19 exchange. Baggy 70F (33%G, 10-13d). The ungerminated seed particles were flimsy, probably duds
