Each of the plants we're selling was grown here - in our basement seed-starting area, and/or in our gardens. Some of them are this year's seedlings, others have been in our garden for one or more years. Some of the perennial seedlings will flower this year, but many won't flower until next year. Please ask if you'd like to know more about any particular plant. All of the older plants were dug out of our garden earlier this year, between two months ago and a few days ago. They often have extensive root systems, which don't easily fit into the containers we've used for potting. The plants are potted up well enough to stay healthy through the waiting time until the day of the sale, but in many cases the pots are too small for their long-term health. Please find places for them in your garden as soon as possible, and in the meantime keep them well watered. We wouldn't knowingly sell less than perfectly healthy plants - please let us know if you have any problems! | ||||||||||||||||||||||
