Deciduous climbing vine or rambling groundcover with snapdragon-like flowers, violet/purple with white throats. I tried several times to establish this from seed, and was disappointed twice before finally succeeding with a single plant. It does appear to be as delicate as its tiny dainty leaves (like miniature ivy) suggest, but maybe now that I have an established plant I can look forward to some more robust performance. First flowers arrived in late May, on seedlings started in mid-winter. Larval host for the buckeye butterfly.
