Native to the U.S. northwest. Shrubby plant forms dense cushions of silvery foliage. Candles of white flowers appear in summer. Needs very good drainage, especially in winter.

  1. Seed from NARGS '09/'10 exchange. Baggy 70F (good G, 4-15d). Couldn't readily make out what was seed among the particles in the packet.
