Low-growing rosette of mid-green leaves, with greenish flower spikes in summer. Not a "major" problem in our gardens. The only time these got out of hand was when, as a novice gardener, I didn't realize it was a weed and allowed it to flower. The next year I did lots of plantain weeding, and I still find plenty of seedlings in that area, years later. Easy to pull, though - a lift with a trowel and it's out.
