First-time bloom late April 2004. And guess what, the flowers are pink, not white. So I don't know what species I have on my hands. It looks superficially like Lychnis viscaria, but the flowers are different upon close inspection

Seed-starting details for this plant

  1. Seed from '02 trade. Baggy 70F (50%G, 7-14d). Seedlings weak, many perished
  2. Same seed as above. Surface-sowed to pot at 70F (good germination, starting 15d). Seedlings healthier than when started in baggy
