A slighter-growing mullein than most others in our garden - for us, the rosettes have stayed small, and the flowerstalks rise straight and slender.

Seed-starting details for this plant

  1. Seed from '02 trade. Baggy 70F with light (no germination. a cold stage didn't help)
  2. Same seed as above. Sown to surface of pot, 70F (lots of seedlings, 9d)

Not sure why seed didn't germinate in '03.
