Garden journal entry |

October 27, 2009. When the autumn sun hits it just right, this Sedum 'Angelina' is just about the brightest thing in the garden. It's nice year-round, but somehow it really shines this time of year. It helps that it's planted in our front rock garden, right in the corner of the driveway and the front walk, where you can't help but notice it every time you walk by. |
Visitors to this page have left the following commentsDeborah in upstate NY | Nov 10, 2009 | I love Angelina too. I have it at the edge of our driveway, and at the corner edge of another bed. It shines even here in zone 4. Some of the driveway patch gets run over once in a while by a careless guest but always seems to recover. One of my Rozanne geraniums gets the same treatment. I keep threatening to drive spikes in between the driveway and the bed to "encourage" drivers to stay on the pavement. Okay, maybe a row of upended bricks would be more polite. |
