and where do you think you're going? | May 22, 2011. I thought it was cool how these Bupleurum griffithii volunteers lined up perfectly along the fence, almost as if they were a blue-green riot police unit daring any upstart to break their line. This annual returns in our garden in great numbers every year. I pull it up in most places, but leave some in borders where their cool color and habit adds interest.
Cooler today, with a bit of rain in the evening. Which made it a good day for distributing mushroom soil to various borders. When stirred up, the black stuff is still plenty odoriferous – which I take to mean it's got lots of goodness wrapped up inside. |
