Deciduous, thornless subshrub with feathery compound foliage and half-inch puff flowers in summer. Native to the southern plains states down to Florida. Slow to resume growth in spring, but once it gets going it springs up quickly. Not necessarily great for ornamental gardening, but I figure I'll find a place for it to live.
