Spiky bluish-gray leaves. Native to Turkey, where it grows on dry rocky slopes.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.

Seed-starting details for this plant

  1. Seed from NARGS '14/'15 exchange. Baggy 70F (23%G, 4d). Some more seeds partially germinated, with only leaves developing; most likely these seeds are fragile and easily damaged.
