Achillea tomentosa

Common name woolly yarrow
Family asteraceae
Life cycle perennial (Z3-10)
Flowers yellow (summer)
Size 6-12"
Light sun

Groundcover yarrow, with low-growing silvery-hairy leaves, and typical yellow disc flowers held above.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
