One of my favorite rock garden plants. Its foliage is evergreen, so even after the flowers are done, the blue-green foliage on reddish stems stays attractive. And those flowers, arriving in the second half of May, are especially nice close-up, where you can see the pink veins on light background - from further away, they just look like a pale pink (to my colorblind eyes, anyway).
