Bulbous plant from South Africa, with grassy foliage and pendulous yellow flowers held alternatingly on a mass of slender upright stems. Dormant in winter, blooms in late spring-summer. Both the foliage and the flowers are reportedly fragrant. I grew it from seed a couple years, and got a number of seedlings both times, but have only a single small plant to show for it. As the photos above show, it isn't anything to write home about just yet.
