Allium atropurpureum

Flowers purple

Forms dense clusters of starry deep purple flowers on upright stalks. Despite several attempts to grow it from seed, I've yet to see blooming-size plants (and therefore, flowers). Trying once again this year.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away...
