Aloe branddraaiensis

Life cycle perennial (Z9-11)
Flowers red (summer)
Light sun

Species with zigzaggedly striped leaves protected by sharp marginal spines. Deep red flowers appear on one or more tall, branched stems. Won't survive the worst winters Houston throws at us, but may survive a mild winter or two. Native to South Africa.
