Bright white flowers with orange centers over attractive dark foliage keep the garden going in that difficult period in mid-to-late summer when there's not much to be excited about. What's more, they keep on going into fall, when they are positively the brightest thing growing in their corner of the side garden.
More recently we acquired a specimen of 'Prince Henry'. At least, that's what it's supposed to be; online photos tend to feature flowers that are much fuller. to be honest, I think I like the plainer, flatter appearance of ours better.

Striking fall coloration of some of the bottom leaves - while at the top of the plant, flowers were still going strong.

In our garden, this plant grows in the following areas: side garden, back yard island, bogside border, orchard nursery area
