detailed seed-starting info below

I wasn't impressed with these perennial snaps during their first season in our garden (after growing from seed in late winter) - but I think they are coming into their own in this second season. Fuller plants with nicer flowers - I hope they keep on going all season! Late to come back in spring, but at least they proved hardy through their first winter.

Seed-starting details for this plant

  1. Seed from '03 HPS/MAG exchange. Baggy 70F with light (35%G, 6-9d)
  2. Same seed as above. Baggy 70F with light (a few G, 6-9d)

Seed may lose viability quickly, based on results above. The seed packet contained black and tan seeds. All germination occurred from the black ones; the tan ones may be unripe.
