Aquilegia oxysepala

Common name columbine
Family ranunculaceae
Life cycle perennial
Flowers purple/cream
Size 12-24"
Light sun-part shade

Flowers have purple or maroon outer petals, with a cream-colored center. The photo shown on the garden website where my traded seeds originated shows more of a blue/white coloration, so I'm not quite sure what these plants will grow up to be.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
