Common name Pyrenees columbine
Family ranunculaceae
Life cycle perennial (Z5-8)
Flowers blue
Size to 12"
Light sun-part shade

detailed seed-starting info below

Species columbine from the Pyrenees mountain in Spain. Its small size makes it just right for the rock garden, with their blue-green leaves and deep blue flowers.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
