Perennial or subshrub from the Canary Islands commonly grown as an annual. We introduced two varieties into our backyard garden for some quick color while we're populating the borders in our new Texas garden. The first one, 'Comet White Improved' is closest to the coloration of the species, with traditional yellow-centered white daisies, while 'Flutterby Yellow' offers more uniformly yellow blooms. Both grow stridently upright, although they may be encouraged to develop a bushier habit with some judicious pruning.
