Typical pitcher-shaped jack-in-the-pulpit flowers, but with striking chocolate-purple coloring of the inside. Orange berries. Ours is just a second-year plant, so we haven't seen all this marvellous display yet... Even so, I like how the new growth emerges as a burgundy spear. One day after this photo was taken, the leaves were fully unfurled.

My only plant seems to have disappeared. You should be able to find sources from several specialty mail-order suppliers. Have you tried Plant Delights Nursery? |
