Herbaceous perennial native to the U.S. interior west and great plains down to Mexico. It forms a cluster of upright stems, with narrow leaves and round umbels of starry white flowers. The plant is toxic to most animals.

- Seed from NARGS '24/'25 exchange. Baggy 70F (78%G, 10-28d). Germination was apparently provoked by damaging the seed membrane, which I did progressively as more seeds germinated
