Family fabaceae Life cycle perennial (Z4-9) Flowers yellow - orange (mid-late spring) Size 3-4' Light sun-part shade Another one in the series of soft-colored baptisias, this one's flowers reportedly age from lemon-yellow to orange blush. Our plant is new to the garden – I hope to have an update with a bigger bloom next year.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
