From what I've gathered on the internet, this is an Asian version of our native Anacacho orchid tree, but with both leaves and flowers on a smaller scale. If my seedlings grow up to any useful size, I'll report back with a better comparison.

We're just trying this plant for the first time this year; it
hasn't found a permanent place in our gardens yet.
